WHAT DOES POLY COTON MEAN?

Polycotton is a blend of cotton and polyester. The main difference between cotton and polycotton is their durability; cotton is prone to wear and tear while polycotton resists wear and tear and is more durable than cotton. Polycotton, as the name suggests, is a fabric that contains both cotton and polyester fibers. The ratio of polyester to cotton varies, but one of the most common blend ratios is 65% cotton and 35% polyester. Polyester is less prone to tearing due to its elasticity, so it is more durable than cotton. Since it is a synthetic fiber, it is also cheaper than cotton. Although cotton is more comfortable and breathable, it is more prone to tearing, shrinking and wrinkling. Polycotton has the strength of both cotton and polyester. More breathable than polyester, more tear and wrinkle resistance than cotton. Although polycotton is not as cheap as polyester, it is more economical than pure cotton.
